David Michael described the journey of creating AWS Lambdas in Terraform in a similar way to the deployment functionality of AWS SAM or serverless.tf. The functionality is this:
The code for infrastructure and business logic is stored side-by-site and when business-logic code changes, only then it deployed out. If you update infrastructure, but the code remains the same, there is no need to recompile and push.
Zack Proser wrote a tutorial about configuring and launching a fully functional Quake 3 Arena server in an AWS ECS Fargate task and connecting to it via the Quake 3 client.
